I spend a great deal of time on the Outer Banks of North Carolina where just a narrow strip of land separates Currituck Sound from the Atlantic Ocean. The tranquility of the sound is often a sharp contrast to the drama of the ocean.
The skies here are huge and are often the dominant theme in my paintings
